"We are taking measures to comply with the US Department of Commerce decision"

Facebook joined Huawei in a series of US sanctions.
Facebook will not allow Huawei smartphones to incorporate its apps as default applications.
According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on September 9, Facebook said it will not allow Facebook apps to be built into Huawei's mobile devices. Huawei has been using the popular Facebook app on mobile devices so far, but it will not be able to do so in the future.
Facebook's Instagram and Messenger Watts apps are also not included in Huawei mobile devices by default. However, if the apps are already installed, Huawei mobile devices will be continuously updated and used.
"We are looking at the final decision of the Department of Commerce (Huawei) and the temporary licenses thereafter, and we are taking steps to comply with it."
But it is still unclear whether users will be able to install and update their own Facebook apps on the new Huawei mobile device, the WSJ reported.
In this case, Huawei smartphone users must download manually from the Google Play Store. However, Google will also stop support for Android operating system (OS) service from Huawei on August 19, and Google Play will not be available on new Huawei smartphone.
Huawei has announced that it will show its Linux-based OS 'Haemmu' in early fall and early spring next spring.
Huawei applied for OS design patent at the end of last month to the German authorities under the name ARK. Although Arc OS supports some Android apps, it is known that they need to install the app through its own store or third party store rather than Google Play.
Last month, the US Department of Commerce added Huawei and 68 affiliates to Trump's list of companies subject to administrative orders from Trump. Huawei has also ceased trading with major partners such as ARM, Intel, Qualcomm and Xilinx, and major telcos such as UK, Japan and Taiwan are also delaying the launch of Huawei smartphones.
